On July 7 and 11, 2003, Sightless Self-Defense held a class for the Summer Swept group from Reed College.
Eleven teenagers and two instructors participated in the classes taught by Stan Miller, Jeremiah Reinmiller, and Rob Petersen.
The students learned simple falls and how to defend against grabs. They also learned how to take down attackers via fingerlocks, and how to move and maintain their balance.
Everyone involved learned a lot and had a great time.
